Description
A small pit quarry located about 400 metres northeast from Částkov, near a road between Částkov and Žumberk. Stone blocks are mined by breaking off using wedges. Blocks are lifted by a crane and transported to a nearby stonework plant, where they are processed into fine stonework products. The plant is equipped with circular saws; surface treatment methods include grinding, polishing and splitting. Stone cylinders with a diameter of up to 22 cm are created as intermediate products by drilling with a core drill. Typical products include polished stone vases.
