Stones, sandpits and limestone quarries in the Czech Republic

The quarry is located in the cadastral area of Lipová – Lázně in a forest, on the northeastern slope of the Mramorový hill. It is accessible via an asphalt road turning west from road. No. 369 in Horní Lipová, which turns into a field path leading south after approximately 300 metres, which runs along a level curve of the Mramorový hill and crosses the railroad tracks between Horní Lipová and Ramzová after about 1 km. Immediately after the viaduct, there is a western turn into the forest leading towards the quarry, which is about 500 metres away. Marble blocks mined in the relatively small, three-floor quarry, are transported to stonework shops in Zlaté Hory and are processed for noble stonework products.
