Slivenec marble is a sedimentary, fine grained limestone, which typically occurs in various shades of grey, greyish-green, pink up to reddish-brown. Sporadically it contains light calcite veins. Figures 1 to 3 show the grey and greyish-green marble variant and Fig. 4 shows pink and reddish-brown coloured marble. A light calcite vein is clearly visible in Fig. 5; Fig. 6 show polished marble.
