Description
A small single-floor quarry located on a gentle forested slope above the former village of Libná, approximately 3 km northwest from the village of Zdoňov, i.e. towards the Czech-Polish state border of Libná / Chelmsko Ślaskie. It is located about 700 metres away from this crossing. The location is characterised by the frequent occurrence of fossils. Stone from the quarry is transported for processing to a plant at 39 Jiráskova Street in Teplice nad Metují, where it is further processed for gross and fine stonework products, similarly as like Božanov sandstone.
