Stones, sandpits and limestone quarries in the Czech Republic

Fine grained sandstone of light, cream white colour with ferrous colouring in different shades of yellow up to reddish-brown. A typical example is shown in Figure 1 and different coloured variants are depicted in Figures 2 and 3. Figure 4 shows a cross section of cut sandstone and Figure 5 shows an impression of a fossil, which are quite common in Dubenec sandstone.
