Description:
Medium up to coarse grained marble of typically grey up to white color with various shades of grey. It is characterised by non-sharp bands of grey on white background. Figure 1 shows a practically white variant of the marble with visible calcite crystals on fracture surfaces; Figure 2 depicts this marble in a cut and Figures 3 and 4 represent Supíkovice marble in various shades of light grey colour. Dark grey marble as shown in Figure 5 is rare. Figure 6 depicts polished marble.
