Description:
The mined stone is a typical fine grained Silesian granite of light grey colour (see Figure 1), locally coloured by ferrous pigments to different shades of ochre (so-called yellow granite), as is shown in Figure 2. Light veins can quite commonly be found in the Huttung quarry, as is represented in Figure 3. Figure 4 shows the surface of polished granite.
