Description

This extensive quarry is cut into the hill between the villages of Velké Hydčice and Hejná and has 9 storeys. It lies to the west by the road connecting these villages. The limestone is transported by conveyor belt to the nearby plant in Velké Hydčice, where the limestone is burnt and the lime slaked, as well as being mechanically treated.
