Description:
Sedlčany granite is dark grey, medium grained, as is shown in Figure 1. The stone contains light veins of aplite that are usually several millimetres, rarely up to several centimetres thick, as depicted in Figures 2 and 3. The stone also contains basic clots of dark grey up to black colour with diameters of several centimetres, rarely up to tens of centimetres (see Figures 4 and 5). Figure 6 shows polished granite.
