Description:
Kozárovice granite is medium grained, grey up to greyish-blue. Locally it contains larger feldspar phenocrysts of pinkish colour, as well as dark grey or black basic clots, normally of several centimetres. Ferrous pigmentation can only be found on fracture surfaces or next to them. The typical example of granite from the Vachatovka quarry is depicted in Figure 1. Figure 2 shows a dark basic clot and Figure 3 represents ferrous pigmentation near a fracture. Figure 4 shows polished granite.
