Description:
A typical Blatná granite is depicted in Figures 1 to 3. It is medium grained and grey coloured. The stone contains dark basic clots and locally also light veins (see Figures 4 and 5). Ochre up to brown colouration of the stone can only be found at fractures or near them. The polished surface of Blatná granite is shown in Figure 6.
