Description
The sand quarry is located about 1 km southeast from the center of Dolany, near the road leading from the village to road No. 333. The sand is mined from below the surface using a floating bucket excavator from a 10m high wall. The mined material is transported using belt conveyors to washing and sorting. The sand quarry therefore only produces washed sand with different grain-size fractions.
