Stones, sandpits and limestone quarries in the Czech Republic

Tučice granite is medium grained and light grey, as is depicted in Figure 1. The stone contains numerous dark basic clots, shown in Figures 2 and 3, and locally also light veins up to several centimetres thick (see Figures 3 and 4). Figure 5 shows pigmented granite that can only be found near fractures. Figure 6 depicts polished granite.
