Description
The pit quarry with block mining is located in a forest about 600 m northwest from the centre of Velonovy, from which it can be reached by following a westbound turn from the main road and then turning north after about 350 metres to a path leading to the quarry. Granite blocks are processed at the quarry site into gross and fine stonework products (cutting, polishing).
