Description:
Blatná granite from the Velenovy stone quarry is medium grained and light grey, as is depicted in Figures 1 and 2. The stone contains dark basic clots, shown in Figure 3, and light veins up to several centimetres thick (see Figure 4). Ferrous pigmentation is visible near fractures, see Figure 5. Figure 6 depicts polished Blatná granite.
