Description:
Typical granite from Hudčice is medium grained and grey. It is shown in Figure 1. The stone contains numerous basic clots with a diameter ranging from several centimetres up to several decimetres (see Figures 2 and 3). Top layers also contain granite with ferrous pigments of various shades of ochre, as depicted in Figure 4. Figure 5 shows polished Hudčice granite.
