Description:
The stone from this quarry is grey and medium-grained. Granite from upper layers is darker, whereas from the bottom parts of the quarry it is lighter. Typical Málkov granite is shown in Figures 1 and 2. The stone contains dark basic clots and bands and light veins up to several centimetres thick, as depicted in Figures 3 to 5. Figure 6 shows a polished granite surface.
