Description:
Granite from Štenovice, shown in Figure 1, is typically light grey and medium grained. The stone contains basic clots (see Figures 2 and 3), and rarely also light veins up to 1 cm thick. Pink coloured aplite presented in Figures 4 and 5 can be mostly found near fractures. Figure 6 shows a polished surface of Štenovice granite.
