Description
The pit quarry is situated in a forest on the southwestern slope of the Vrch hill, about 1 km southwest as the crow flies from the village of Řásná. The road to the quarry is significantly longer, as from the south border of Řásná it circles around the hill on its west side. No mining took place in 2012. The quarry is partially flooded. The quarry bottom is not accessible to heavy equipment and the stone is mined using cranes.
