Description:
Typical granite from Horní Dvorec is yellow and medium grained (see Figure 1). The colour is more intense near fractures, as is documented by Figure 2. Locally the granite contains light grey ferrous pigmentation as depicted in Figure 3. Figure 4 shows a black basic clot that appears sporadically in the stone and rarely reaches a size of up to several cm. Figure 5 shows polished granite.
