Description
The Pavlov pit quarry is situated in a forest between Pavlov u Herálce and Mikulášov. It is accessible via a southwest turn from the road connecting these two village. Granite is mined by blasting off stone blocks by banks of a maximum thickness of 1.5 m. A gross stonework production plant is located near the quarry; alternatively the granite is transported to a plant owned by Granit Lipnice near the Kopaniny quarry, where is it processed into fine stonework products (cutting, polishing, jetting, daubing).
