Description
This small opoka quarry is located south of Přibylov, west of road No. 358, which leads through the village. Přibylov opoka is mined by breaking off blocks using hydraulic wedges. The upper layers of the quarry contain naturally separated layers up to several cm thick; the bottom parts allow mining of blocks with a thickness of up to 40-120 cm. Granite is processed into gross stonework products at the quarry or is transported to the fine stonework production plant in Prosetín..
