Description
This small sand quarry is almost adjacent to the D1 highway near the exit to Ostrava – Poruba. It is accessible from Ostravská Street, between Václavovice and Svinov, via a northbound turn. Sand is mined by wheeled loader from a 6m high wall. The material is sorted at the quarry into a fraction of 0-8 mm.
