Description
The raw material is quarried from Náklo Lake, which is situated around 2 km to the north of the village of the same name. It is extracted from under the water surface, from a depth of around 15 m by a bucket excavator and from a depth of up to 25 m by a grab dredger. The raw material is loaded onto boats, which pusher tugs pull to the wharf. From there it is scooped from the bottom by a bucket elevator onto a conveyor belt, which transfers it to the nearby treatment plant where it is washed and sorted into fractions of 0-4, 4-8, 8-16, and 11-22 mm. The treatment plant is equipped with cone crushers and is accessed by the local road from the village of Unčovice.
