Description
This quarry is situated in the forest, on the side of a hill, some 500 m to the southeast of the village of Bzová. It is accessible along the route that turns off north from the road connecting Bzová and highway No. 50. The stone is quarried from several faces using machinery and explosives. The quarry has a large volume of tailings in the overburden. The stone is processed on site to make rough stone products (chipping) and there is also a circular saw for the manufacture of tiles.
