Stones, sandpits and limestone quarries in the Czech Republic

Benátky limestone is light grey in the base, as can be seen in Figure 1, although it is generally coloured with iron oxide pigments in layers and places, or all over (see Figures 2 to 4). Figure 5 shows the imprint of a fossil, which are generally found in large numbers here.
