Description
This three-storey quarry is situated around 1.3 km to the southeast of the village of Bratříkov, to the east of highway No. 10 from Železný Brod to Loužnice. From this road there is a short turn-off to the quarry across Žernovník stream. In the quarry the Železný Brod slate is broken off using a hydraulic hammer, primarily for the manufacture of rubble. However, it is also processed in the quarry by cutting it to make paving and stones for garden architecture.
