Stones, sandpits and limestone quarries in the Czech Republic

This medium-sized quarry is situated by the wood on the southern edge of the village of Nová Červená Voda. It is easily accessible from the road that runs through the village south alongside Červený potok stream, which splits into two in the south of the village. The quarry is accessed via the road running southeast, from which after approx. 200 m there is a turn-off to the northeast that leads approx. 300 m to the quarry. Granite is quarried using explosives and is processed for rough stone production in the quarry site.
