Description

This extensive four-storey limestone quarry lies in the forest on the slope of Smrčník hill, around 1 km to the southeast of the processing plant, which is by highway No. 60 between the villages of Lipová-lázně and Vápenná. The limestone, mostly light in colour, is particularly used for the manufacture of fillers. It is not used to make lime.
