Description

This extensive eight-storey quarry, situated very close to Koněprusy Quarry, is also known as the Eastern Quarry. The quarry complex, also referred to as Čertovy schody (Devil’s Steps), is situated between the villages of Koněprusy and Suchomasty. It is mostly easily accessed from the southwest from the village of Tmaň. The complex includes a manufacturing plant where the limestone is also used to produce lime and hydrated lime.
