Stones, sandpits and limestone quarries in the Czech Republic

The pit stone quarry has been mined since the end of the 19th century. Its geological conditions allow mining of monumental blocks. The quarry is located about 800 metres from Slatina near the road leading from Slatina to Chanovice. The quarry includes a stonework processing plant with excellent equipment allowing stone cutting (including arch cutting with a wire saw) and surface treatment (daubing, sanding, jetting, polishing, dipping). The plant also includes manual stonework production. The processed stone not only comes from the Slatina quarry but also from Vahlovice and Kozárovice II, which are owned by the same company.
