Description
The pit quarry cuts into a hill slope between Vahlovice and Skaličany. It can be reached via an eastbound turn from road No. 175 connecting these two villages. The capping bed contains round erratic boulders. The quarry is only used for mining. The stone is transported to Slatina, where it is processed into fine stonework products.
