Description
The three-storey sand quarry is located about 1 km south of Ondratice and is accessible by the southbound road leading from Brodek u Prostějova along the R46 expressway. The material is mined by blasting or using bulldozers and excavators in higher layers of the quarry. It is then transported in a loader to the sorting plant, where sand with fractions of 0-4, 0-22 and 0-100 mm is produced.
