Description
This newly-opened small sand quarry lies around 1.5 km to the northeast of Moravský Písek, between the railway line and highway No. 427, which runs from the village to Nedakonice. It is accessible from highway No. 427 via a track through the fields. The sand quarry produces dredged and unsorted sand quarried from the face by a loader.
