Vyšehořovice sandstone is medium grained, with a very light grey up to greyish-green base colour (see Figure 1), usually with distinct ferrous pigmentation of various shades of yellow, orange up to brownish red. Pink coloured variants of Vyšehořovice sandstone are depicted in Figures 2 to 4.
